Immersion Research Klingon Empire Spray Skirt

The Immersion Research Klingon Empire is an advanced whitewater kayak spray skirt built for high-mileage paddlers, guides, instructors, and anyone who demands exceptional durability and a dry cockpit in challenging conditions. Its high-tension bungee system creates a significantly more secure seal than a traditional low-tension bungee, making the Klingon Empire an ideal choice for demanding Class III–V whitewater.

The front casing combines abrasion-resistant materials with Kevlar reinforcement, while the deck and rear casing use durable 4mm Supratex II neoprene. An 11mm high-tension shock cord provides a tight, secure seal around the cockpit, and large silicone grip strips on the underside of the casing help improve implosion resistance and keep the skirt positioned on the rim.

The Klingon Empire also features an apron-style neoprene flange that extends past the shock cord to help prevent water from entering the cockpit. Glued, blindstitched, and fully taped seams further improve waterproofing and durability.
