Immersion Research Shockwave Spray Skirt

The Immersion Research Shockwave is a versatile whitewater kayak spray skirt that balances performance, durability, ease of use, and value. Designed for beginner to intermediate whitewater paddlers as well as touring and sea kayakers, the Shockwave uses a low-tension bungee system that makes it easier to install while providing a secure seal for moderate whitewater.

The 10mm shock cord is easy to stretch over the cockpit rim and is double-stitched for added durability. Large silicone grip strips on the underside of the casing help hold the skirt in position while increasing resistance to implosion. Glued, blindstitched, and fully taped seams provide a durable waterproof construction for regular use on the river.

The Shockwave combines a 4mm abrasion-resistant Supratex II neoprene deck and casing with a smooth, stretchable 3mm nylon neoprene tunnel. Its highly visible 3D grab handle stays open and is easy to locate when you need to release the skirt.
