Founded in 1997 as Beauty Mountain Sports, we have provided local paddlers with all they need to experience West Virginia’s whitewater for over 20 years. Ace Adventure Gear has become one of the east coast’s premier paddling outfitters. Now offering a wide selection of outdoor gear and apparel, we are your one-stop shop for all things adventure.

Although we started as a paddlesports shop, we now offer products for various outdoor adventures, including fishing, camping, hiking, and running. We pride ourselves on providing you with not only extensive knowledge of our products but also insight on local recommendations and advice on gear. In addition to equipment sales, our stand-up paddleboard and recreational kayak rentals let you enjoy the rivers and lakes of New River Gorge National Park from a new perspective, and paddlers can test new crafts from our extensive demo fleet before making purchasing decisions.
