Born, raised, and currently living in Princeton, WV.
What’s your home run?
The runs nearest to me are Brush Creek and the Bluestone River.
How many years have you been kayaking?
I’ve been a kayak for around 5 years now. For the first three years, it was pretty rare to get in a boat. In the last two years, it’s rare not to be in a boat.
What's your favorite run?
So far, my favorite run has been the Lower Meadow into the Upper Gauley.
What’s your favorite boat to paddle?
My favorite boat to paddle has to be my Pyranha Loki.
What got you into kayaking?
My folks bought a raft so we could fish sections of the New River. When six fish hooks were flying by at the same time got old, my dad bought me my first whitewater kayak. It’s been uphill from there.
What does kayaking mean to you?
Kayaking has been a way for me to explore my area and make new friends along the way.
